Coming to Knobcon 2013 -- the Groovesizer

Post by oldcrow » Thu Aug 22, 2013 12:25 am

By arrangement with my friend Moshang Zhao in Taiwan, I will be demoing his Groovesizer multifunction controller/synthesizer/sequencer at Knobcon 2013. For more information, see http://groovesizer.com/ and http://moshang.net/

I appreciate the help very much, Crow. Hopefully I can make my way to Knobcon myself next year and have more firmware for the Groovesizer to show off.

Is there a case planned for this?

The case is were most of my DIY stuff gets stuck [i.e. stored away in a drawer waiting for wonders to happen ;)] so I'm only investing in new projects if there is a case available.

Great! I just added it to the gear list at knobcon.com.

Thanks Mike!

@sonic Good point. The design for a sheet metal enclosure is just about done. It won't be available for Knobcon unfortunately, but it will be available at launch time.

We've just received a sample of the sheet-metal enclosure. Availability is expected in November.

I'm not sure how I missed this at knobcon. The case looks nice.

Just found this googling for neat electronics kits. This looks incredible, can't wait for the next batch.

we built one from the first run...
quality kit and an inspiring platform for development.
the next batch of boards has some minor adjustments to design but nothing radical,
def gonna build another one.
respect to Moshang :)

IMHO, even if it were *just* a sequencer, it'd be pretty dang awesome. That it's an entire platform takes it to "incredible."
