Hmm. I can't even get it to do that. It doesn't seem to sync anything. Are there any control settings that need to be in a specific places for it to take the midi clock?InnnerSight wrote:It only affects the pulse out on the keyboard - basically it controls the rate of its arpeggiator.xcoarselanguagex wrote:I've been scratching my head trying to get my easel to take midi clock? There must be a trick? Right now it doesn't effect anything - pulser or arp time. Can someone describe a "start event" further? Thanks!
mwn, thank you for link to the thread. Most helpful.mwn wrote:See this thread for LEM 208 users/info: viewtopic.php?t=139810

Pasting what I said in this thread:xcoarselanguagex wrote:Hmm. I can't even get it to do that. It doesn't seem to sync anything. Are there any control settings that need to be in a specific places for it to take the midi clock?
In my experience, clock sources that can't send a MIDI start message won't (reliably) work with the Easel.
For instance, my Eventide Space pedal sends clock but since it doesn't send a start message, the Easel ignores it.
I ended up getting a Tempode clock generator pedal. It fixed the issue plus provides a handy way to send a tapped (stomped) tempo to all my devices.

The jumper only affects the 1/4" outputs on the power board itself.Anechoic wrote:Same here, only left channel from monitor output through headphones.mutierend wrote:The headphone jack seems to only output the left channel. Is this normal?
Perhaps it changes together with the mono/dual mono jumper setting available for the sustain pedal input? Can anyone comfirm? Thanks
That sounds like a wiring issue with the headphone jack itself. Some of the 208s have flying resistors connected to the headphone jack to lower the output volume of the monitor output. Something could be wrong with that wiring.
Thanks Drillionaire. Its a newer Easel, where as you know the resistors to reduce the level of the headphone output have been moved from the jack to the PCB.Drillionaire wrote:The jumper only affects the 1/4" outputs on the power board itself.Anechoic wrote:Same here, only left channel from monitor output through headphones.mutierend wrote:The headphone jack seems to only output the left channel. Looking at the Phones jack wiring and molex plug, the Ring (white) is connected to G, and the Sleeve (black) to R. Is this ok? Would have expected the Sleeve to connect to G ground. Tip (red) goes to L.
Also, tried changing the sustain pedal functionality by moving the pull-up jumper from the two left-most pins to the two right-most, but could not get any audio out of the (opt right) output. Any thoughts?
Thanks a lot

Looks like the the header was built wrong. The black and white wires should be swapped. You can easily remove the crimped wires by inserting something small like tweezers or a jewelers screwdriver into the opening on the side of the white connector and pulling the wire out. They will latch back into the connector when reinserted.Anechoic wrote:Looking at the Phones jack wiring and molex plug, the Ring (white) is connected to G, and the Sleeve (black) to R. Is this ok?
