Talking about monetary value is quite inappropriate. Who cares for what artefacts like this sell for (unless you want to re-sell it)?

Good musical instruments are priceless.

I agree .... but I got mine far cheaper .. so resell it (and make big profit-could do that to) - BUT NO!!
sell it for 50% of what I got whole deal is I think fair!!!

I had the pleasure of spending a day on an EMU system years ago.

Wonderful system.

Congrats on a very nice purchase.
I had one for a while. Cool systems. Not my favorite but very nice all the same. An elegant system.
Mine had some voice cards which were quite rare I believe. Peter Baumann got them made I believe as forerunners to the audity...

Hi Damir!
No, I like it all! The EMU is great. I'd have one in a second. I do prefer the Serge for it's weirdness and the Polyfusion as it is a kind of uber moog!
ARP 2600. You MUST like that, no?
Fenix. YES. Waiting for my new one.. I love anything modular.
In my experience though I do still put Buchla top as an experimental synth. Moog IIIc stuff for warmth (although the polyfusion is "better" for me)
Nothing is bad. It's all good. Just choices.
I nearly bought an EMU last year....but ran out of money :hihi:

In the second photo the reflections of the flash, each at a different angle on all those shiny silver knobs, make it looks like it's in motion, "comin' at ya!" Sweet! :hihi:

What is it about the Emu VC Clock that makes it stand out for you? I just did a quick search and found an article in Sound on Sound that says:

My favourite of the more unusual Emu modules is the voltage-controlled clock. This features a built-in LFO with mixable pulse and saw waves, of which you can control the frequency and pulse width. By messing around with the waveform levels you can gate the clocks to one of two outputs, resulting in complex alternating syncopated triggers from two outputs. This is great for polyrhymic pulsing rhythms.

Fantastic looking system. Would love to play with one, but I doubt I'll ever see one in the flesh.

Anyone know how many were made?

How would you describe its sound Mr Roginator?

I did a huge work last 3 nights .. to reorganize, clean and rework modules!!!

here is my KEEPER system !
Image

I converted it to 230v ... recapped , cleaned sockets, made new FLAT cable connections with new DIP IDC connectors :)

it made first sounds ... :)

Im now on stage to finish "For sell system" (second one that will be available soon)

Image

in a day or 2 when i finish all I will make few demos !!:))

2 systems together ... just a porn time !
Image

I posted a link for schematics here in forum too...
http://sendbigfile.net/manage.php?uid=HiCG6nEz

Voltage controlled clock is LFO with great ways to tweak and clock LFO waveform... that and triple latch are CRAZY modules :)

This looks fantastic. The one we had in SYCOM at USF was in a lot rougher shape, and that was over 10 years ago when I last saw it.
