Mr. Lehn is pretty amazing to watch live. I saw him with Konk Pack two years ago. He carries a big patch book with him which he referred to a few times. He also likes to "glitch" the synthi by manupilating the Prestopatch card.papz wrote:... and Thomas Lehn is one of its best ambassadors for sure, I'd be happy to see him in concert too.

I've been using the Ikea Jansjo gooseneck reading lamps all over the studio for a while now and usually bring a couple to gigs. The color temperature is pleasing enough and they're fairly inexpensive, and can be had with clamp mounts or a weighted base. Highlighting the wire spaghetti with a little LED spot is always a people pleaser!clusterchord wrote:
one thing i got painfully aware of - i need some LED light for my case but have no hp left. perhaps something that can clamp on the edge, dunno. at times, i had to use my mobile phone to patch. it was very dark.

great, thanks for the tip !! i actually remember looking at those, i've been to Ikea few weeks back. ideally i'd like something miniscule, even smaller, but if i dont find it, i'll go with these..DonaldCrunk wrote:I've been using the Ikea Jansjo gooseneck reading lamps all over the studio for a while now and usually bring a couple to gigs. Im sure theres better options but ive found these to work well and cheap enough to be somewhat expendable. I used AA LED goose necks in the past but those always die at the worst times, plugin is the way to go. Will be switching to USB apparently when I get my Lunchbox Magnum.
thanks. we sometimes had roadies, that's how the old setup was possible. but it took me 1.5 hours to connect everything, tune and do sound check. every time. i was often too tired to play after that..DonaldCrunk wrote:That's an impressive rig btw!

Did you ever finish these? Do you have a link to those cases? They look perfect for the job.meatbeatz wrote:These are my performance cases. They are 104HP wide. The lid is removable and deep enough to be closed while patched. The front 1U will house utilities, ribbon controller, and multi-pin connectors for quickly patching the cases together. Clocking, drums, signal routing/mixing will go into a third case.
PSU/dist boards are yet to be installed. I put these together just before an interstate move and haven't had a chance to power em up yet
