Recently I gots a Disting mk 1 and gave it a try using an A-119 into a Korgasmatron for filtering. The Disting is very sensitive to lows so a HPF is def needed but I actually achieved pretty good results with a bass guitar.
AS RS 35 pitch tracker experience?
I've never tried the RS-35 but I've tried 2 original MS-20s and a rare MS-03 as well various software solutions.

I had an MS-20 for many years. When I got into Euro, I got an RS-35 as I love d the "Instability" you could get out of the ESP. For me, the RS-35 is almost too stable and precise to get what I am looking for. With a mono input like guitar, it tracks perfectly. I do recommend a pre-amp with it, in particular because you cannot get the original sound back out if you want to mix that with the synth sound.
