This has happened to me on a couple of occasions and the only way i've been able resolve it was by turning the power off and back on for the modular.
Q104 freezes up?

Stops working period. It usually happens when i've got really heavy patching going on. I was wondering though if maybe I need to upgrade my power supply as i'm approaching the 22 spaces? My entry system supply crapped out on me last year and Roger was kind enough to send me a new one.. how do I know what supply I got? My supply says 5V DC at 8A w/ovp and +/-15 DC at 1.5A.. which sounds like a QPS1.

Hmm . . . now I'm wanting to flood it with midi data to see if I can crash it. If this is a known/common issue (sounds like it is), it seems like you could resolve it by filtering data transmitted on that channel. Obviously, there wouldn't seem to be much use for data unrelated to the Q104's basic functions anyway, and limiting it would probably also improve timing.
Cheers,
Brian
