Sadly I only have it on order and won't be able to build it for a while since my soldering iron needs replacing.
would be nice if u tell us how u like it and how hard it was when u did it!

What are your specs?
8 HP knobs for exponential to linear (log to ex would be even better) offset /level knobs
and a mix out or summing to the last output
Looks like Bubblesound are finally releasing their Hex VCA. 7HP, no offset knobs, per-channel lin/exp two-position switches.

The old HexVCA is so great. I don't know why they quit making it. I have several uVCA's but I like my 3 HexVCA's better, a lot better. I think they sound better even if they don't have as many features.

I'm borrowing the Intellijel Hex VCA from a friend at the moment. I notice that even with the knobs turned fully down I can still hear signal when I have an oscillator plugged directly in. Is that pretty normal for this vca?

Do you have CV connected to that channel?
You should be getting no bleed at all.
Keep in mind that its a linear VCA.

Mine was like that too, but I think there are trimmers on the back to calibrate? (Many years ago now, so I dont remember exactly)

The trimmers can really help, I have two, and they mute fine!
