131 space 5U live piece.

Featuring a bassline with one Oakley VCO through two Equinoxe Phase Shifters. One is a Deep Equinoxe with a switch to invert the LFO out. This LFO is sent to the second Equinoxe CV In. These are either tandem or opposed but always sync'd.

All but one module was incorporated. The Clipper/Rectifier. :despair: I had an idea but never got to it somehow.

Mostly this is a self-running patch (go figure) and all I was doing was farting with the off-board effects, panning, and the Equinoxe settings. Of course I was bringing in the various sounds and playing a bit with the pulse width on the Oakley VCO (set for center PWM). Other tweaking included a signal processor handling some transpose functions on the bassline from the STG Time Modules. About midway there is a surreal pitch shifting bassline moment caused by this manual operation.

Pretty simple droning thing otherwise but lots of modulated sounds coming and going with the Yusynth Random Gates module and some dotcom switch modules.

Naturally, this started off to be a simple Equinoxe demo. :bacon:

Wow that is cool, David. Big modular, big sound! :tu: I found that mesmerizing.

Did you run out of cables before you could patch in your clipper/rectifier? :hihi:

Great soundscapes! Plus, I had just received a potentially deadly snake bite, and the video cured me, so that was good.

I'm pleased to read I could be of service.

No just patience and ideas. I do get to the point of having really short and really long cables though. Any expansion from here will require 8 foot cables from now on.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone.

That was amazingly amazing and made me so envious (of both your modular and your synthesis skills). Thanks for sharing.

That was awesome, David.

But, damn, after I watched that video I've got freakin' alien spaceships landing in my backyard! :boba: :r2:

The video made me think of a mad scientist trying to keep his beast from going out of control. And, I've always loved the effect of the flickering light created by the fan.

Love your videos. :yay:

Very nice! So you had it all patched up and were manually mixing different sounds?

I have to build a Yusynth Random Gates now.

Yes, pretty well. The four sounds were sent to a mixer module and one pair of sounds were pre mixed in a separate mixer. They come and go completely automatic with the help of the Random Gates, switches and lot's of LFO's and VCA's. :tu:

It's really an easy build except for the LED's. I stuggled with them until I learned how to mount each properly. With your veteran skills you will not have any trouble at all.
