After recently suggesting (in another thread) that someone could emulate the EMS trapezoid envelopes with a UEG, I decided to give it a shot this past weekend, just to make sure. (read: a good excuse to spend some more quality time with the modular.) I'd barely played with it as an EG, mostly just as a sequencer.
Had it on loop mode, linear shape, going between 4 stages with CVs set to 10/10/0/0 (attack, on, decay, off).
Anyhow, I was having a lot of fun with it. But, something just sounded a bit off. I thought it was maybe just the fact that I hadn't explicitly tried it before like that, and wasn't personally familiar with the EMS trapezoid envelopes.
Today, though, it was bugging me; I wanted to get to the bottom of it, so I just dumped the output the oscilloscope. Lo and behold! The shape switch is wrong! Pulse/infinite slope is correct, but linear and exponential are swapped!
From top-to-bottom the positions are labeled lin/exp/inf, same as with Encore's pic:

But, in reality, they are exp/lin/inf.
Which is the order they are on the Euro and MOTM UEG panels:

Can anyone confirm that this is a universal issue with their dotcom UEG? (haha, pun.) Or was mine perhaps wired wrong?
Dotcom UEG shape switch label error?

I will check mine in a few days once I get a rca to bnc adapter so I can plug into my oscilloscope. I was wondering about this after looking at the manual for it and noticing that was labeled differently than the MU version. I haven't had much time with the UEG yet, been using it as a sequencer as well, a little bit as an envelope, but not in a context that I noticed anything.

It's my understanding (which may be wrong) that Encore uses the same panel-mounted PCBs for the UEGs in both MOTM and DotCom format. If you pull a newer UEG out of the rack you can see that it has power headers for both formats. I'm guessing that the switch orientation is the same, so the DotCom one is just mislabeled.
