Scheaffer will take synthesiser.com blanks and engrave them for you. The result is slightly different to a screen printed finish but it's pretty good. See this one:
wow, fantastic! :cloud:

Is possible a detailed view of the engraved?
and.. what is the process to command this work and send the blank panel?
Is expensive this process?

:yay:

Hi,

It looks awesome.

How do you do that ? It's your own pcb design ?
The PCB's are by Toppobrillo; see this EM thread.

The front panel is by Lexvortex, on the ModularSynthPanels Yahoo list here.

I'm just doing assembly work.

Some time next year they should be available with an MU Panel and Dot Com Power input

Need to upgrade the PCB for the power but not much else :tu:
Cheers :guinness:

yeah! :sb: I don't like to blend motm panels with dotcoms, so to offer MU version it's just wonderful because so many modules are only available in motm format, maybe because is easier to make or silkscreen.

I took a look to krisp page and I put in my schedule some MU module, but a time after my Steiner filter and STG mixer arrives. My credit card is shaking I need to recover funds!!! :deadbanana:

But keep us informed!

Thanks for your work :yay:

So it looks like there are none other than the dotcom that I don't have to assemble myself? I would LOVE a moogerfooger built into a dotcom format.

Can anyone with experience with both the Q116 Ring Modular and the YuSynth Dual Balanced Ring Modular comment on their differences, similarities, strengths, and weaknesses?

Or side-by-side samples?

Generally I'd probably just snag the Arrick one, but it is a bit painful that it doesn't even begin to fill up half the real estate on the module. (Not even a passive attenuator on one of the inputs?)

Also, I'm a bit confused by the different inputs and outputs on the YuSynth - do you just use one set of inputs/outputs?

(I also have an interest in the Oakley one, so if anyone has experience with that vs. those other two, I'd be interested to hear it too.)
