My favorite part of the video is Dude getting lost in listening to his patch -- just like I am. Very nice, and I laughed-out-loud when you described it as a "rubber-band orchestra". I had all these Warner Bros. cartoon images dancing around in my head after you said that.

I've never quite figured out Karplus-Strong, but I've never actually tried to patch it either, so maybe it's just a matter of learning by doing.

as i said on the phone, the pitch cv has to be first inverted and then dialed in from there. it is not the easiest to get it to track. but it is possible. whereas, the flanger has the dedicated 1v/o in but no dedicated feedback loop.
