A fine work, Ed, the Moons must be happy to have a musician like you on their side. I subtract day by day to give you a report about the official Polyclavier.

I can understand your enthusiasm over the resolution of beats in a large array like this. It is evident in this demo. Things are inserted and removed easily whereas it could be more difficult to do with most analog step sequencers.

I like the music (duh) and love the vintage futuristic model shots. Wow.

Thanks for the kind words wigglers.......

it is a VERY creative tool. And the new software updates work very well. It's the perfect partner to a 569.

in this tune all the rows have the same pulse. It's a whole new world when you have different pulses for each row. I have only scratched the surface fiddling with this. I'm sure someone, somewhere is going to take this to the next level

Ed - or anyone - can you explain how this works:

More than one reset position per row can be set. The active reset buttons are displayed by means of blinking LEDs. By reaching the first blinking position a reset to step 1 is actuated (and triggers a gate, if position 1 is active/LED on).

To set/remove a reset position push and hold the „Set Reset Pos“ button – then push as many but- tons as desired and release „Set Reset Pos“.

Pushing and holding „Set Reset Pos“ and „Reset All“ deactivates all gate and reset positions at once.

I'm not understanding how you can have more than one reset position.
Wish I had the cash for one of these as Noisebug knocks off 10% tomorrow.

My understanding is that you can set multiple reset positions, and naturally the first one it comes to will cause it to reset. If you set a reset on stages 2, 5, and 8, say, it will reset at 2 until you deactivate that reset. Then it will reset at 5, until you deactivate that one, and so on.

No kidding about that sale. Unless I'm imagining things, it looks like selected Moon modules were recently lowered in price by about 10% already. Nice time to buy. I just promised myself last night I would lay off the modules for awhile, and yet I'm spending way too much time staring at the Noisebug site this morning.

Cheers,
Brian

My assumption is that you can set multiple reset points per row, but only the first one takes effect. Seems handy.

BTW, I heard from Antonio at NB that my unit has arrived in CA.

I got the Quantum View e-mail last night that Noisebug had shipped my M568. :yay:

Now, we'll have to wait to see what functionality Gert builds into the M568E expander module. :despair:

Glad this was bumped - what are people's thoughts on this? There was all this excitement right before it shipped out, then dead silence.

I'm considering eventually picking one up and basically if it works like it's supposed to then I'm game for it.

I REALLY want one, but it is fairly expensive so that's what has been holding me up. Plus I haven't really used my 563 much yet either so, it's hard to justify the 568, even though it is VERY cool!

There are a couple other fairly expensive items I really want too (Cirklon, digital Mellotron rack, video camera, etc). I've been seriously considering finishing the restoration of my MiniMoog and selling it  :omg:  so I can get some new stuff I would use more. :hyper:
