USB Power Supply?
USB Power Supply?
Does anyone know of a small USB Power Supply for powering a couple modules? Preferably a DIY kit. Pretty much like this: https://www.synthrotek.com/products/mod ... usb-power/
Just wondering if any other manufacturers have something similar. Looking elsewhere because of... reasons.

If the reasons are what I think they are, they're damn good reasons.
I don't know of any that are usb and that small. If you can go bigger or are willing to cut them down these might work.
I've built both and can confirm they work well and aren't especially noisy. Prefer the MMI one over the other but if space is a concern, then it might be too big.

Those are great! Thanks! Noob question: Anything I need to know about cutting those? Can I just dodge the vias and cut with a clean blade on a chop saw?

Yeah, it'll be fine. I did that on a pedal version of rings and I haven't run into any issues. Just make sure the cut is clean and the traces aren't shorted. If it's being put in a conductive enclosure you might wan't to cap the cut end with non-conductive tape or liquid electrical tape to make sure it doesn't short. I'm sure you know to wear a mask and all that when cutting fr4, but figured better safe to mention than sorry.
FWIW both of those designers are class acts business wise and great people all around.

Synthrotek has one, I use it as a bench supply.

Polyend Anywhere looks awesome. At first I thought it was kind of pricey, but it says it's 20kmAh! Shame it's tied to a 4hp panel. Is prefer to case mount it.

I am also looking to see what is out there for powering a single module. I think the power needs are a bit high for the Synthrotek version, and would like USB-C for the higher power spec.
