Can't deny I'm excited by this:
We might come up with something wide. 4hp but still really wide...
Especially since...

But even if it isn't the "expander that magically spreads the DCO's voices across the stereo field" I was dreaming of in the post above, everything these guys come up with is cool, so it's great to hear they're working on something.

Sorry! It's not a new expander for the DCO. Good call tho! :D

It's an entirely different device. Something old (and cheesy) and something new.

This new thing can and will go everywhere from cheddar (both type I and II) via gouda to parmesan and manchego. Even the stinky weird cheeses. But no blue cheese. It will never do that.

Hello!
I was wondering if the VCA+ADSR of the expander can be used with a CV trigger without the Midi input?
I tried but cant seem to make it work. It does work with the MIDI input.
I emailed Supercritical but they are on vacations, maybe someone here can shed some light.
Thanks !!

Yo yo!

I answered your mail earlier today but check the first two minutes of this video:

Basically, there’s no separate trig in for the internal envelope but the four FM inputs can be set to trigger the envelope polyphonically on quick CV changes. It’s a bit of a kitchen-sinky feature but there might be some cool abuse potential on that.

Talking about feature creeping: Now back to playing Katamari Damacy ->

Dammit I just bought this without realising the expander is half of the price of the module again and necessary to my requirements, hopefully it isnt too late to cancel !
