Hi All- firstly apologies for the time it has taken me to get back to you all...I have been pretty darned busy getting things ready and life itself can be less than straight forward...!
Anyway- here are pics of the first 6 modules that I am releasing, I received the metalwork last week- and over the weekend, put down tools on my normal work and built these guys up. Prices for this stuff is to follow- and I would hope that by the end of the week- all that info will be on the macbeth website- I'm just doing negotiations with my dealers- then I'm through.
Anyway- here's the pics- vids and audio to follow!

Hey! Thanks for your positive comments!....hopefully you will se a picture here of three modules together. We have the Mk1 Oscillator 'B' with it's Sawtooth output, dual Pulse/Square outputs and the two suboctaves! This makes for a very fat sound from one single unit. It carries an Octave switch, a wide ranging Oscillator Sweep control and a the multi turn pot
Also featured here is the Mk1 Filter 'B'- a State Variable filter type. I've gone back the way again by using what synths designers now shy away from- the LM301A and UA741 opamps.......the output from this is somewhat vintage!
With the Dual EG and it's built in utility transistor VCA- what you have here is a basic synthesizer...!

Hi rafe127- in this case yes. I thought it would be a neat idea to include the noise into the mixer as it is something that I, and other probably use a lot mixed into the audio. Other modules that are to follow include a more complex noise/random generator which will be a unit in it's own right. A triple Ring Modulator, Quad VCA/Panning module and a Spring Reverb module shall follow soon!

Hey Don! Thanks for your comments!...........yes, the 'A'/'B' trip!.......there will probably be a 'C' trip too!
.....Our Darkness- I was so pleased with the sound of the X-Series 3U modules- how could I not put that stuff into the Mk1 5U series?!
Because of the larger working area in the 5U format- there will of course be more funtionality...
Actually- these units are two dotcom spaces wide. Because of the size of control knobs that I use- I can add a third extra amount of controls- ie three rows of knobs instead of two!

Judging by this picture from the other thead on these modules, it looks they have the PCB parallel to the panel. So, they should fit in Dotcom portable cabinets without any problem.

Ken, can you confirm if all the MacBeth MU modules be designed this way? Can you tell us how deep they are? Maybe they'll even fit in front the power supply in a portable cabinet. 8_)
I love those big knobs on the oscillators. It looks like you're breaking into a bank vault.
