Wish you did too. Would be a killer jam.

Man that touch output alone is making me want this thang. I was missing it big time on the standard module.

Jesus I just finished reading the manual. Tony, you are an effing genius.

Is it any wonder that Makenoise is the reason I finally ante'd up to buy into a modular system?

Looks like I've gotta get a 2nd PP.

Or a Touch Keyboard?

I wish that Flame was good to go
w/out additional modules. A quantizer
would be a bonus on this one.

I need to build a command station.
And it might have to be 6U. Z8000,
Intellijel, 4ms, Brains +2x PPs...
Plus Malekko has that ASRQ coming.

This is starting to look fun. :moneyburn:

Is it possible to wire up Brains and two PPs in such a way that you could have a 4 step brains sequence going on the PP closest to brains and still be able to use the 2nd PP module as a standalone controller?

Does this require pulling the modules out every time you want to switch between brains+1 PP and brains+2 PPs?

I think my z8000 is looking at its replacement, but I want to know how easy it's going to be to use it like I describe above.

I think it would make more sense that you can get 4 stages from one PP, and 8 stages if you have two PPs chained. 3x4, 3x8 sequencers.
Is anyone else stoked on the fact that you can actually get a 1-24 step sequencer out of this thing with two PPs?

All you need is the the a151 and then send it the gate from the 8th stage, right? Then the switch toggles to the next row of knobs. Repeat 3 times!

I mean, I don't think I'm crazy there, but I am still somewhat new when it comes to this stuff.

Please tell me if I'm wrong, because the only thing holding me back is whether or not I should include an a151 in my order :)

pressure points has always been able to be a touch keyboard even without brains.

Ah, ok. I don't have one. It didn't appeal to me initially.

So, would it function similarly to this Touch Keyboard/Sequencer (TKB) from Serge?

Because that appeals to me strongly.

i'm going to invoke the rftm. sorry.
also, i have never used a tkb so i will not pretend to know its powers. but, upon looking at the tkb, they look to have many similarities. particularly with the new brains.

I use two of them chained and the third one separate so they'd work just fine!

FUUUUUUUUUU :deadbanana:

The Brains was so exactly what I wanted that I ordered one and 2xPP before I even read this far into the thread. Will have to add an A-151 to the order now as well.

Thanks for bringing that option up. :guinness:

^ A 150 would get you there too no?

Part of me really wished this could power 4 PP's... I know it could be achievable with 2 pairs and some switching but... :despair:

Anyhow, cant wait to fire this one up... been patiently waiting for this ever since I got my PP's, which are lovely btw!

Thanks tony :)

I might be wrong but I don't think so. A-150's has cv in < ~3.6 = i/o 1, cv in > ~3.6 = i/o 2 - it doesn't advance on a pulse like the a-151's trig in (or the a-152's clock in).

Well then its time for me to score a 151!

Should add that despite my earlier want I'm really pleased with the functionality on this module: tony has put on features I wasnt at all expecting.

Ordered ;)
