Sorry to necro this thread, tried to search and couldn't find an answer. So I'm borrowing some modules from a friend, including a PP + Brains. I'm really loving it. He has them racked in an HEK. I tried to put them in a very shallow skiff I have and it seemed that Brains was too deep. But I was able to rack my QCD. Modular grid lists the QCD as 44 mm and Brains as 36 mm. What's going on? Did older versions of Brains used to be deeper? Pretty sure my friend got this one secondhand so I have no idea how old it is.

I just measured it and its around 1.75 inches, so 44.75 mm. Whats up with that? Can anyone confirm that it used to be deeper and it is now more shallow? I'd like to get one for my tiny skiff.

I've bought the Brains not long ago. Just pulled it out of the B&G for you. It's exactly 36mm.

Thanks Virgil

The old ones must have been deeper. Good to know!

Hi! Newbie here. I've been wracking my brain over this (hehe) snd I can't figure it out:
Last night I tried to send a clock to my Brains from my Squarp Pyramid. I was getting 4 beats then no advancement for 4 beats, then rests again. This is happening with any clock I feed into the brains, including the Maths.

Here is a video of what I'm experiencing.
I just want a constant clock! cheers.

Just a guess, but check your jumper settings as I think you only have 1 pressure points and brains thinks there are 2.

But purely a guess on my part but the "Maths" seem right to me  ......Steve

i have a weird problem with my brains. it is connected to 2x pressure points and 2x analog memories. when i clock brains, stage 5 (first stage on the 2nd pressure points) is skipped. The led on stage 5 doesn't light up and the cv value from the previous stage is held for the duration of stage 5. i can trigger stage 5 manually from the pads just fine. any ideas?

I'm quite sure this is a jumper problem. Check the manual carefully for jumper placement.

Brains is being retired.

No news about Pressure Points going... yet.
