My "evil Serge" style system, all DIY. Pic's a little old but unfortunately I haven't had much of a chance to work on it over the past year so it hasn't changed much.

Left cabinet is all synth, right cabinet is all drums with integrated midi>trigger converter/distribution.

Midibox SEQ4 -- it's had a guts & frontpanel redo since then, still working on it. Love it though.

Sure, I'll try to take some new pics soon. The color coding is simple -- attenuator knobs and input jacks are colored, other knobs and output jacks are black, logic signals are white.

Many of you may have seen it elsewhere, but seeing that I just uploaded a few here to muff to describe a patch in this thread I figured I'd finally post a pic here as well:

Great idea putting the s.o.u. in-between the 259's. It stops all the halves of the 259's turning into a giant hall of mirrors where you don't know where one oscillator ends and the other one begins.

agreed! at first i thought it'd be a proper decision to line up three 259s above the 219... pretty quickly i'd done the same thing, but with a 285.

That's a problem I hope to have some day: how to keep my 259s from all mushing together.

I resituated the 266 for a recent performance where the expectation was a 45-or-so-minute set, and wanted to focus on building several independent sub patches. It worked more or less, and breaking the 259s up had better results than I was expecting overall.

I think it does take three or more 259s for the hall-of-mirrors effect however! :hihi:

i never get bored seeing your system jason. absolutely lovely. between the unique housing, superb module selection, and little diy thing-a-ma-jig in the corner, my eyes never know where to settle.

my humble boat. small but seaworthy for the ocean of timbre that lays before it. Image
