You're most welcome! My pleasure. I finally fleshed out my Golden Kumquats piece to 11 minutes--nothing but Catalyst Audio's Buchla 100 modules.
You can listen to it on my bandcamp site:

@catalystaudio: i have two quick question
- first regarding the control voltages: afaik the 100 can only process controll voltages with positive sign. is it possible to harm the circuit, if the cv is negative (typical range of +-12V). i plan to set up an unbuffered 100 with some few cv generator modules (namely noisering).
- lead time: the 158 vco seems to be sold out at moment (at least in europe/germany). can you give an estimation of the approx lead time?
many thanks in advance
1. Negative voltages shouldn't harm the circuits, but they wont respond in any meaningful way to negative cv's.
2. Unfortunately, I can't really give any timelines at this point. I can say that getting stuff restocked is our main priority right now.

This is a gorgeous piece.
i don't know what I'm doing but I sure like doing it.

Really like the sounds (and the name) in this!
Todd: I recently heard one of your podcast interviews where you spoke about the Buchla Easel. How would you compare the sound of these Catalyst Buchla 100 modules to the Easel and other Buchla modules? I am very interested in the Buchla sound, but at this point cannot afford the Easel. Thanks!

Easel is made up of 200 series modules which were built very differently, these are based on 100 series modules. Look into some of Todd's 200 series videos and the one of his old 100 system. Different way of going about things from 100 to 200.
Do you have any plans to produce clones of the 100 series filters? 191, 192, or 194?
I'm pretty sure I remember hearing that there were plans for a 192/194 combo Lowpass Gate/Bandpass module and also a 191 24db non-vactrol filter. There were also mentions of a 190 Reverberator, 123 Sequential Voltage Source, 144 Dual Square Wave Generators, and 140 Timing Pulse Generators, if I remember correctly.
Plans may change of course, but I sure hope these get released.

I hate to be that guy, but if there was a modernized version of the 158 with CV over waveshape and a more standard tuning behavior than the "internal/external" switch, I'd be all over it.

Ah yes, the inevitable "actually Crocs are good" page of any ModWiggler discussion thread has been reached

There are definitely some unique aspects to the workflow of the 100 series stuff.
I do think that it would be fun/interesting to do a series of modules that keep the sound/discrete circuitry of the originals while marrying it to some more conventional cv control and other modern conveniences. Unfortunately, doing that takes time away from doing the stuff that I already don't have time to get done, so it's not likely to happen any time soon.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't mean to try to push anything, just to express an opinion, and I still enjoy and respect your work.

Sorry to necrobump, but I thoroughly enjoyed this piece! Thanks for sharing.
