Here is my Dot Com system in a custom cabinet. I used Google SketchUp to design the cabinet and my friend helped me build it.

Here is a link to some more info on the build. http://modularsounds.com/?tag=cabinet

Here is a direct link to the SketchUp file if you are interested. http://modularsounds.com/wp-content/upl ... abinet.skp

Yes, very nice case, amphonic! Any ambitions to have a twin sitting right next to it?

And it's great to see some modules in your case now, bf! Looks great as well! :yay:

Cheers,
Brian

Thanks Moog$FooL$. I purchased a power one HCC15-3-A for my +,-15V before I landed on using the MOTM-650 and having my eye on a 730 (although I have yet to even patch the 650 up having become absorbed in a patch using self generated feedback from the time machine to psudo-randomly step the UEG), so I added a power one HB5-3-0VP-A for my +5V. The distro board is a MOTM-990 with a pair of terminal blocks feeding it and a rear mounted XLR connection to power a secondary cabinet.
Here is a better view from behind while I was setting the supplies and distro up.

Thanks for the compliments on the cabinet. It was a lot of fun to build. There are no plans for a twin cabinet but I just started a EuroRack system using a GhettoRack cabinet and I plan on finishing it with the same stain.

Enjoy,

yeah the milton is a cyndustries creation. it is an amazing amount of fun and I know I only use half of it's potential.

maybe someday i'll have enough funds to fill in the hole with a couple of modules. a couple more filters would be fun.

Here's my system, from early August 2009--Lots of MOTM and some Frac stuff, as well! My modular is dubbed Wanóre, The Wall of No Return!

I 'm hearing a theme from the movie 2001 in my head as I wonder if I was to go to the floor above, would I see the rack on the right continue on up! :tu:

+1 for the Mace :hihi:
how do you find the usability/ergonomics of a rack that tall. Not just using the top most rack, but also the lowest?

About ergonomics--I stand, I sit, and I jump! If I jump, I might get hurt, but with creation comes the pain of the ordeal! If I don't jump, I may never know what could have been!

Sometimes, I get a step-stool!

Sometimes, I don't get a step-stool, and leave it up to an Eno-like card-trick--If I jab at a knob I can't reach and the pot breaks, then so be it. If the pot lands on a new value, then just go with that. If I miss the intended pot and bump a few other pots/wreck a few jacks, then go with that!

Who needs ergonomics from a fixed point?! I rather like the monolithic touch! Maybe, I need a voltage-controlled, bungee-cord, jumper-thing, sort of like Mad Max had in Thunderdome! But, the chain mail skirt must come first!
