Would the Ghielmetti need 20 pins? Does anyone know how much they would be assuming they arent included in the €320?

are people using the 13600 or 13700

as in his docks on some of his builds he requests 13600 as he tried 13700 and did not work as good as the 13600
I have read the 13700 can be used as a drop in for the 13600, but the 13600 is not forward compatible if the circuit utilises the additional diodes of the 13700.

I always use 13700 in place of the obsolete 13600 and never found any problems. I'll be using 13700's in mine (socketed). In fact for the money, it's probably a good idea to source 20 of each and swap them out, you'll always use them anyway.
Jörgen Bergfors claims that the 13700 has a bit less gain. Perhaps that is a contributing factor.
Just spotted this...

How's the capacitor group buy coming along? Are we close to having enough wigglers onboard yet?

Please include me on the cap buy assuming US shipping is no problem. I'm not sure if you were counting me as in because I left it kind of open earlier.

or write on his face book page thats where i usually talk to him

organ fixer you where part of the 15

3000 was the next price bracket but if only 15 it will be the 2000 price bracket so 2250 =£37 + postage if we have 20 it will be £31.15 + postage
if you buy them your self 150 is £47.34 + postage free if you spend £50

thats for the 0.047

the 0.010 the next price bracket is 4000 so whether we have 15 or 20 its still the same price bracket 2250 =£31.54 + postage thats the same for 3000 aswell

im not vat registered so in usa i have to pay vat so you need to check if its cheaper with your own taxes

i just checked newerk prices and definetly cheaper in usa $29.7+ usa tax for a set of 0.010 which is way cheaper at around £25 thats an even better saving

0.047 on 2250 same price bracket as 3000 is $34.65 as set + usa tax which is about £28

but obviously theirs import tax and £8 handlers fee and postage to think about

i recon if in usa you were to buy at 150 you would actually be paying about the same as we are in uk europe on a group buy

it really does piss me off it works out $1 in usa is £1 in uk and when you get charge import dutie and you payed $100 you will get charged at £100 vat rate of 20% where $100 is about £76

so let me know i can order this week organ fixer i think its definetly cheaper for you to buy direct as really your not saving anything

and you get better price brackets and cheaper cost

i have a work college that lives in usa so can get him to get the parts for me as he has good discount rates also he sends them to me might be cheaper and he could send to the usa person which could be cheaper

Which company are you referring to?

Farnell have free postage on all orders (even if you buy a single diode). CPC is free postage over £5. RS Components is free postage over £30, as is Rapid.

Hey, Thanks for doing the math for me. I didn't consider the taxes. That seems to be the difference. I guess I'll just order here.

Wow. Just.... WOW.

I can't WAIT to see the enclosures you guys are going to put these in. Does that giant PCB fit in a 19" rack case?

My PCB arrived yesterday, thanks :tu:

Are 1% resistors recommend (tolerance not specified in the BOM) ?
Finest EMS gear service and 208 goodies

I'm not a synths dealer and don't know of any cheap Synthi secret market.
I don't offer support for attempts to build clones of EMS equipment.
Please don't ask, thanks.
