WOOOO modcan (w/pic)(and sounds)
lol. digital delay is very awesome! i haven't scratched the surface with any of these guys. the vcdo seems slightly underwhelming but i am sure that is only because i don't know what the fuck i am doing with it. tips are welcome. i can't say i recommend getting 6 modules at one time in that there is soo much to learn but in this case with the wait times it seemed like the only way to do it.

VCDO: try running a sequence and trying different ratios and VC of index. Remember that the amplitude knob controls PW for pulse waveforms. Also try an insert cable in the output to access the quadrature out. I think this module works best in a musical context rather than in the first 5 minutes of probing.dude wrote:lol. digital delay is very awesome! i haven't scratched the surface with any of these guys. the vcdo seems slightly underwhelming but i am sure that is only because i don't know what the fuck i am doing with it. tips are welcome. i can't say i recommend getting 6 modules at one time in that there is soo much to learn but in this case with the wait times it seemed like the only way to do it.
And I think you've found your delay module. I'm interested to hear the tempo input driven by the 4ms clock modules ...
looks great.
have fun.
I would love to try the 69B with that Matrix Mixer
The Joystick doesn't bother you under the CV Rec? I like my joystick above all the cable droop. 8_)
For me, the 62B is all about the blend cv.the vcdo seems slightly underwhelming but i am sure that is only because i don't know what the fuck i am doing with it. tips are welcome. i can't say i recommend getting 6 modules at one time in that there is soo much to learn

lol, its a super long story (5 years in the making). this isnt the first time i have worked for him.haricots wrote:you left early and hate your boss on day one!![]()

You need to modulate the hell out the VCDO - especially the waves!
thanks everybody for thoughts and suggestions!
cable drop hasn't been a problem anywhere. it gets so jungle-like no matter what i door where i move things that i have just sort of learned to dig.

VCDO - just send some time w/it and the magic will reveal itself. the PW/AMP knob is sooo awesome and using it at LFO rates w/AMP is insane.
w/subtle waveform modulation you can really dial in the sweetspot and do some killer stuff. listening to your soundloud tunes it seems like a module you will love. i like it a lot. i have 2! it can metallic scraping and lovely FM bouncing and all kinds of wicked drones and stuff.
i added a couple old old modcan VCDO noodles to my soundcloud modular noodles set

one delay is great, two delay are better!
I would like to hear that team.

well well well. so many thoughts to share but only have time for a few. i think i have happily ended my desired wavetable set and delay team searches. those are really good feelings to have for me. unlike the aliasing of the motm e350, the dvdo and vcdo are pure, clean and strong throughout the entire audible sonic spectrum. the scanner is hugely useful both as a vca on steroids as well as super friends of the logic team. the analog quad lfo was, thankfully, exactly what i had envisioned as well. there is still a ton of exploration to do...

DVDO is good? I've got an e350 and PH is looking good as a different flavor.
I really like the interpolation of the e350 + PH through such a wide range
of waveforms.
Does the DVDO interpolate through the entire bank or just the A+B slots?
Oh yeah, some scanner sounds would be mighty welcome. That thing is
crazy. Bruce is right, I tried the circular pattern with a saw on my A-144.
No go.

I posted a bunch of scanner demos in the scanner thread.Entrainer wrote: Oh yeah, some scanner sounds would be mighty welcome. That thing is

I'm sure dude can tell you all about his trials and tribulations while searching for the ideal digital VCO.
I really like the DVDO

dvdo doesn't interpolate through the entire banks only through a and b. i actually find the vcdo to do the morphing more similar to an e350 with on board modulator. scanner is crazy and more flexible than i can explain. the manual outlines all the possible functions. it is a deep module and i have still on barely scratched the surface.
