yup. it is amazing. simply amazing. it has completely revolutionized much of my patching and i know i still have much deeper to dig. who knows when the rest of the order will be ready. it has grown further since i started this thread. now includes a vcdo+dvdo(with switch as opposed to momentary button) and a scanner. i have lost track of the timeframe of the order.

I asked once and Bruce said he usually only sells them with the rackmount kits.
You could always paint the black ones from bridechamber. They're $16/pair

also i have ordered a couple sets of rail endcaps. let me just say the price has gone up on them but i think they are available. details on tat part haven't been ironed out.

totally excited and i may have even found a good lead on a job...so i'll be able to pay the remainder of my bill. best monday i have had in a long while.

:goo: exciting!!

I need to sell a couple things (like my Tetra MAPS, MOTM Lag) before I can give Mr. Duncan some of my money. Next up is the :modcan: Dual Quantizer (and maybe the Scanner).

obviously i cannot comment on the scanner as it hasn't arrived yet but the quantizer keeps getting better and better. i have learned to make extremely functional use of all of its holes. also, i would consider a control module. it is one of my most used modules. so awesome! small and sooo powerful. i think it might be the most important modulator in my system at this point. all this talk : )i think i will go use it RIGHT NOW!

I really enjoy my Quantizer as well. I've mentioned it elsewhere, but the pulse out is really fucking useful.
I also have a scanner on order (along with a matrix filter), but it will be a few months before I get them.
I really  the control and want one bad, but it won't be in the budget 'til next year.

hopefully wait times for all of us will be shorter now that the worlds largest and most intimidating modcan synthesizer has been built and delivered.

yeah pulse out on quantizer is great. i used to think the scale cv in was a pita conceptually because dividing 48 scales into 5 volts is like splitting hairs. but of course you can only be in one bank at a time so 48 moves down to 16 and therefore opens up the window to get some really usable scale changing. bipolar input as well as invert are game-changers as well. it is unstoppable!

you can make little melodic self sufficient songs fairly easily with just a vco/quantizer/control module/clock(for reset of control). fun stuff. add cv recorder vca/eg to conquer the world!

Count me in as a big fan of the Modcan Quantizer! I think the 16 steps for 5V of CV for the scale input is just right as well. :sb:

not to mention the 12 steps out of 5 volts for a full octave span of transpose cv input!

Yeah, this Control 66B looks simply essential. Any word on an A version of this..? Guess it wouldn't matter since I'd have to wait a year to get it eh... poopy. :omg:

sweet. so what's fhe final black to white ratio? I'm guessing you don't have enough black to make a checkerboard? :hihi: I'd be interested in your thoughts on the scanner when you get it. I have one on order, but won't see it for a while yet.

when it arrives 5u will be:
black: 25%
white: 65%
blue: 10%

then a lil less than 200hp(6u or two rows) in euro which isn't yet complete but almost.

no checkerboard. i will certainly relate my experiences with each of the new modules arriving! i will try to do some useful demos as well!

yupz. awesomely sweet n nutbusting indeed. demos and shitty pics will ensue upon arrival. i feel like i have been waiting forever for this one. but i heard it through the grapevine that many orders have been finished recently and that now is a particularly good time to order.
