I've been using the Disting's clocked delay for all my delay needs, and this looks like a perfect step upwards and frees up my Disting to do one of 15 other things. Score!

Saw a product tax pop up when I put it in the cart and it turns out this is coming out of Austin too :goo:  :goo: Can't wait to throw it in my rack.

How does the sync input respond to audio-rate clocks? Is Karplus-Strong synthesis possible with the Chronoblob?

wow.. its got the exact feature set i was hoping for. the two modes with resampling or without pitch shift for sync, the access to feedback i/o etc. :yay:

can't wait to hear more demos, with more extreme feedback settings, as well as some classic delay applications with subtle modulation.

Is the signal path DC-coupled by any chance?
Is it possible to modulate the delay with audio rate?
The audio path is AC coupled I'm afraid. The time CV input has a pretty heavy lowpass filter and then an even heavier one-pole filter in the DSP code, so audio rate modulation isn't really possible. :(

Not well, unfortunately. It's not sample-accurate and the minimum delay time is ~3ms so the module isn't really appropriate for karplus-strong.

Awesome! Look forward to getting my hands on it, the glitch and stutter demo just made it clear it was the right choice!

The Hold Mashing demo should be your first demo at the top of the page...it really gets the ear and piqued my interest.

Well, there goes all my carefully planned order of next purchases! The last 3 demos did the trick. Ordered...

Looking forward to having some pink Chronoblob oscillations in my rack!

So once the smoke settles, how about a "ChronoUberBlob", stereo signal path w longer delay times (up to 6 to 12 seconds maybe?), cross feedback modes, parallel or serial routings, and separate synced time mult/divisions for each channel?

The ChronoUberBlob should also definitely have delay time going way up into audio rate :)
