I'd say that's a fair assumption! Just heard from Shawn at ah again, they got the stillsons in last night, so will be up on the site as soon as they open tomorrow / today, depending on where you are.Roy72 wrote:Is there any correlation between the impending landing of the SH2 and the number of Modcan Touch sequencers on the BST?

No, built in quantizer per track.esmeets wrote:Looks awesome but just to be sure,
1. You don't need a quantizer right?
2. It will accept an external clock? (From the ADE-32)
3. Is it possible to control run and stop?
Yes.
What do you mean? Cv control it? I imagine if you send it a clock signal, it will follow that and the sequencer will stop if the incoming clock stops. But not sure what you mean.

Nice demo, Ricky!
Looks super fun to use, and quite intuitive as well, it seems. What's your first impression of it? Pros and cons and whatnot.
I just ordered mine as well, can't wait to get it.

First impressions, badass.... i can't get enough of it.Daisuk wrote: What's your first impression of it? Pros and cons and whatnot.
Was so easy to turn on and get going.
Pro's:
-4 CV gate outputs all with seperated pattern legnths, clock divisions, pattern play mode, etc
-Dual CV inputs assignable to individual pages or multiple pages at once
-Everything
Con's:
-Exactly figuring out how the CV inputs work. for example its CV input per step, but sometimes i just want CV input on the whole sequence. I wish there was a way to bypass that without having to assign how much CV input is sent to each step. and just send it to the entire track.
With that being said i need to reread the manual over again.
Manual is not too long but packed with tons of detail!
Great work guys!!

Thanks! the KnitRider was only being used to sequence drums.hawkfuzz wrote:Nice demo. How is the knit rider being used with the sequencer? I want to get one.
The clock output of the Stillson hammer mk2 was going into the clock input of KnitRider. that was the only thing they had in common haha.
But I did try something later where i had 'E' output on knit rider sending a reset to the SHMK2 that was pretty cool
I do not have it yet, but I would say :
pro :everything
cons : no calibrated transpose input

A few questions I couldn't find answered in the video or manual :
- If not already there: any chance we can get inverted or S-trig gates in addition to the existing +5V gate ? and Hz/V in addition to the existing 1V/oct ?
- Is there some shuffle/swing feature ?
- How will the firmware update procedure be performed ? Is there some microSD card at the back or USB port ?

Mine should be arriving tomorrow! This will complete all but 4 hp of my first rack. 126hp goes fast.
Have one more rack to go, gotta make sure to save room for the expander.
My only gripe without playing it is ridiculous. I wish the sliders had some click response just so I could play it like a Rene. Impossible, but boy that'd be great. Although, I'd just end up sliding them around accidentally.
Those assignable controllers really make this thing unstoppable.
