Thanks for the info PWM and pulsepsycle, I had a feeling you might be able to wire the DPDT for all three but it hurt my head trying to think how to do it

To clarify, these are *not* DPDT (double-pole, double-throw) switches.

These are DP3T switches (double-pole, three-throw), in DPDT look-a-like packaging.

I recievd my Krautrock phaser eurorack panel today. I made some mistakes in the design - first time designing/ordering at panel pool - but, I'm very happy with the result.

Thanks!
I'll measure it for you, tomorrow that is.

You can have the Target3000 file of you like. The panel was somewhat less of €45,-

No rush on the deepness, more curiosity than anything. Not sure if I'll need the panel, I was fixed on getting an enclosure but having seen one eurofied I'm not married to that so much now.

Haha. Too bad. A stand alone version comes with it's benefits, though.

The pots and jacks are pcb/panel mount, mounted on a veroboard (single islands) The Krautrock PCB is mounted to the pot PCB with brackets. I make these brackets from an old computer chassis.

Looks rather time consuming, not going to be cheap to pay someone for their time to make me one lol.

Lamps not working

Post by condor13 »

Hello, just finished the build, but the lamps are not working. The phasing works, the panel lamp lights up, in out function works, bypass relay works. Theres no oscillation. I used a 18v, 105mA transformer HAHN from tme. Is the current on the transformer to small? Where should i check first :)
Thanks

Did you double, double check if all components are in the right place?
Could you make a (hi res) picture of both sides of the PCB and upload them here? A link to the actual transformer you used is helpful as well..

I`ll post asap a Hi-res photo. Yes double checked the components. The link to transformer is: PDF TME HAHN 303 2034 and link to site Link.
Thanks again.

There's a good chance your transformer doesn't deliver enough current. The 3 lamps alone can draw around 100mA, more or less. Then there's the regulators, quite a lot of OpAmps, etc.

Unfortunately I can't measure the current draw on my Krautrock because it's still not completely finished... D:

No worries. I`ll double triple check the components and soldering, then i`ll get a torodial :)
Thanks

Hi, I have 2 questions:
- do you people put heat paste between heatsinks and components?
- do you solder heatsinks to pcb?

Thanx!
