Cannot get enough of the Elodie Lauten reissue that came out recently. She's done wonderful, beautiful stuff over the years with a Fairlight and Reaktor.
She was an old collaborator of Arthur Russell's. "For fans of Laurie Spiegel and Suzanne Ciani" according to the label, which I wouldn't argue with.

I really liked this, never heard of her. This track reminds me of Mark Bell/LFO. When I saw she didn't have much on Spotify, I checked Amazon for mp3s, then her label. No luck. I liked it enough to make me want to buy something but not enough to make me want to buy a CD player.whinger wrote:My favorite is probably Andrea Parker.

You can get some stuff on https://bleep.com/search/query?q=andrea+parker and on http://boomkat.com but not that particular album. That's from Mo Wax and I've not seen digital versions anywhere.

Laurel Halo.
Damn, what I would give to get an instrumental version of that album of her's from a couple of years back (Quarantine). Production is just sublime, but can't stand her singing on it.
Band Ane (from Denmark, she was awesome live)

Susanne Sundfør (great Norwegian synthesist/pianist/composer/singer/musician)
