Having been lucky enough to own Pauline Anna Stroms 3 LPs that make up much of this comp. for many years - I can say they are truly fantastic start to finish! They deserve a proper reissue too! Also her 4 illusive tape only releases from which there are 4 or 5 tracks on here - sounding great compared to the rips that used to be up on the blogs ... I'm really tempted to go on and on about the uniqueness and depth of her music, but it really does speak for itself. (As does she in the linked interviews)
... Hmm I only just noted the 'modular' in the title - excuse the OT post, but definitely check out her music!! It's all analog synths and sequencers - with an amazing ear for sonic detail.
