André Laska at TubeOhm in Germany sells Ambika motherboard and voice card PCBs, as well as compete kits, with full build documentation and email support. André's stuff is super high quality, highly recommended. Over the course of writing this post I have decided to get one - put me down for an ambika. I am going to look into the voice cards and see what looks good there.
True. But with respect to TubeOhm, his Ambika mobo still isn't available, and has been pushed back a couple times, and it looks like it's gonna cost 60 EUR!bennelong.bicyclist wrote:André Laska at TubeOhm in Germany sells Ambika motherboard and voice card PCBs, as well as compete kits, with full build documentation and email support. Umm...
I have a few other SMD projects I FINALLY want to get off my ass and do (and I think they will be a little easier than these) so here is hoping my chops will be good enough after those!
Thankfully I have a M.I. factory Clouds on order so could I please get in on:
1 x Streams
1 x Frames
Many thanks for doing this and as always, Olivier is a STAR!

to be fair, 60 eur sounds like a reasonable markup - i'm doing these at group buy ratestimpecter wrote:True. updating thread & pm's now
i had question about how much these builds would cost - i haven't calculated that
but "more than you think it will", "30% of the price of the new module" seem like realistic answers - someone posted that they'd built a braids and spent $50 on parts, that probably doesn't include a panel
the mouser part numbers are all in the boms so you can look up prices if you're curious
if you use your pure animal cunning and ebay you can probably do it for less

Please add 1x Frames to my order. Edited my original post (top of this page) to reflect this addition.DJBRUTAL wrote:In for:
1x Clouds (also posted in Clouds thread)
1x Braids
1x Elements
1x Ambika Mobo
Thanks!

i have an ad hoc system in place for maintaining my sanity - clouds was the first buy i did and i think will be the first to close on monday morning - i'm basing the order with the pcb house on units paid for rather than units requested - then once that comes back i'll order the rest as long as the quality is okjarvis wrote:1x streams
1x ripples

maybe the clouds buy should be merged into this thread?
