Not to mention violating the rules:
- POST IN THE RIGHT PLACE! Do not post 'For Sale', 'For Trade' or 'Want To Buy' threads or posts outside the relevant subforums. They will be deleted.
- You can bump your 'For Sale' and 'For Trade' threads reasonably, like every few days or once a week or whatever....

You appear to have built yourself a little business selling largely unsupported copies of Mutable Instruments PCBs to people who don't realise they can order such PCBs themselves from any number of PCB fabrication retailers on the web, usually in greater quantities, for a similar price, which then allows them to practice their SMD soldering on a few of the spare boards first.
By "largely unsupported", I mean that you offer the PCBs for sale, but don't provide any advice to prospective customers about what's involved in making these modules, and you largely rely on the goodwill of others to help out your customers when they get into trouble. In fact, it seems that you don't even bother to build examples of each module yourself, using your own PCBs, before offering them for sale - thus you don't even know what is involved in building each one.
None of this is illegal, and all of it is permitted under the licensing of the designs, although some of us think such behaviour is morally dubious. But now various people in this forum, including the designer of the modules himself, have very reasonably asked you to stop bumping your PCB sales thread. Your response is to carry on regardless, and respond with smart-arsed comments.
If you persist, the next step will be to formally ask the MW admins whether your PCB sales thread bumping behaviour is consistent with MW policies and with the norms for the DIY forum.
And I have decided to stop providing any advice to hapless DIY constructors using PCBs they obtained from you. I feel sorry for these people, but I can't help prop up your business any longer in good conscience. A photo of their PCB quickly reveals whether it was bought from you. Others who have provided advice to your customers may also wish to adopt a similar policy.
alright,
i'll just correct tim on a few things, if he wants a protracted argument he can have one - i'm not interested in talking to him especially though.
debatable. i've got no interest in debating this though
i'd encourage anyone who resents giving advice to other members to stop doing so.
i do appreciate the help you've given people who've bought my pcb's, the way you first showed me these modules could be built by way of your avatar pic, and the way you feed the worlds plants every time you exhale though

this restricts people to pcbs made in far eastern sweatshops - i'd be very surprised if my prices for one pcb could be matched on a small run of multiple pcbs made in decent facilities in the uk, usa or germany, like mine are.Adam,

if you think making nasty remarks about my drawing is reasonably asking me to stop bumping a thread, your helmets too tight. But now various people in this forum, including the designer of the modules himself, have very reasonably asked you to stop bumping your PCB sales thread. i'm exceedingly glad you've decided to stop interfering, your lying about people needing to compile firmware has held many back, your strong assertion that there could not possibly be anything wrong with the version of streams firmware used by diyers led one member to spend two hours taking his build apart looking for faulty components, left alone he could probably have solved this more easily, this particular episode also caused another builder a lot of hassle he could have done without. And I have decided to stop providing any advice to hapless DIY constructors using PCBs they obtained from you. you're entitled to your opinion but i can't see what this has got to do with anything, tim made some errors likely to affect me, i needed to correct them, i've agreed not to bump this thread daily and started an alternate thread in the bst, if you don't reply to this thread it will mostly go away
