On the MI forum Olivier said he's ordered them. There's no waiting list or anything, they'll just go in the MI store. Not sure how long it takes to get them made though

I just managed to get one of the units with the panel and the firmware pre-installed so I think standalone panels are around the corner
Electronicvibes wrote:I am sure that question has already been asked 1000 times but... how easy it is to swap panels?
Usually very easy -- you need to remove the knobs (sometimes a small screwdriver helps with this) and you need to remove the nuts around the jacks (a good nut driver will do here). Take off the old panel, put the new one on, and put back on the knobs and the nuts around the jacks. That's normally it.
Mixing the 1bit and Bi polar outputs on this thing is absolute gold for me. I sit here listening to that for far too long without getting any work done
I got my sheep, and I'm happy with it, great module, both in Tides and Sheep mode.. a question: what does the sync input in Sheep mode? sync what? I try to feed it with Pamela or Silent way sync, but just receive trig, not sync.. thanks

Any chance of another batch ?
Yeah, only ~45 were made and sold out through the MI site. They also sold a handful of actual Sheep modules with the firmware and faceplate pre-installed.
REVIVER wrote:EDIT: No idea if there's a plan to produce more.
That would be nice.
From the MI forum
"I don’t plan to do a new run of faceplates – absolutely no incentive for me to do that (small profit, cannot automate shipping, “I damaged my original faceplate while disassembling it can you sell me a new one pleasssse”, and more generally I plan to get rid of the online shop/direct sales which are too time-consuming for me).
As for making Sheep “factory-side”, we started to set this up and we ran into a few annoying roadblocks that made it not worth it at all."
How does sheep compare to other wavetable oscillators out there? Does anyone made a comparison between sheep and the e350 or Piston Honda? I have tides/sheep but it's my first experience with wavetables outside of Nave on the iPad so I have nothing to compare it to n the euro world.
