Hoping someone in the UK has one knocking around that they don't want/need!
I’d love a Sheep panel as well, but as they’re like hens teeth, I bought this one….it looks pretty good.

If no-one has one spare, then pusherman has sheep panels for about £5...

I have Tides v1, purchased last summer. I love it and have exclusively used it as a VCO because it sounds so great and the filtering/wavefolding, combined with the internal VCA, make it a complete voice when you add an envelope. I love it's sound so much that I have hesitated to flash Sheep, although it is very, very appealing.

Love this necro thread!

Really. Try it. Especially if you use tides mainly as a VCO.You can thank me later. The filter/folder and level cv works the same under sheep.

it sounds amazing; my only other wavetable experience is Shapeshifter, and this doesn't seem to sound very similar at all, is that on-point? what wavetable modules/synths would you say this sounds like?

Well that was surprisingly easy! After reading the link posted by Pugix above I was expecting a bit more faffing about, but my Tides must be a later revision as there was no milled groove in the rear of the original panel, the pots' alignment tabs had already been cut down...and all I had to do was remove the original panel and fit the new one in exactly the same manner. Took about 5 minutes

Very happy with the result! (see below)

If anyone is looking to Sheep-fy their Tides v1, I can highly recommend this panel from Pusherman
https://pushermanproductions.com/produc ... ium-panel/

It's great quality aluminium, only cost £5.54 inc VAT (£8.64 including shipping), arrived the next day - all good!

I was going to replace the knobs with all white ones...but the only spares I have don't have pointers on. Might do that one day if I get round to it, but overall I'm very happy with the result!

Thanks all :tu:

Yeah, most strange - must have changed the design at some point. Thanks for the info regardless!

Hi Sheepers!!

I'm also experimenting with the module and trying to dig into the less-obvious features.

How could SYNC be properly set up? Until now I used my master clock, but I started thinking that it could be detached and run way faster.

Also, I'm currently using a "parasitized" version of Sheep, which uses the awesome quantizer from Parasite Tides

Hey,
Maybe it has been discussed before but anyone figured out a way to import custom/user wavetables in this beast ?

Asking for a friend that still really really wants a legit Sheep panel or one that looks like a legit one. How cld that be done? Cld a panel be made thru Panel Express or somewhere such as like that? Is there a file out there of the og panel design available?

Yes - on the mi github there is the Illustrator file - easy to convert to whatever format you want!
