I love mine, and I haven't had any of the frustrations some of you have. I really like the ability to "play" the sequence in real time by enabling and disabling steps, twiddling encoders, and switching the step length on the fly - I just do it in time, and it doesn't seem to be an issue.
My biggest wishes/issues are:
- not knowing where you are on the rotary encoders (Previously mentioned)
- no option for external clocking except MIDI, so I have to drive the entire patch with it.
- but, it's
. I could have 3 of them and I basically have most of a Doepfer MAC 16/3. With presets. I like working within the limitations, and seeing how creative I can be. I am wondering if you could synch two of them together via MIDI, without going through a computer first. Need another one to try.

I don't own two, but my understanding is that you would plug both of them via USB and they should be synched if your DAW recognizes both of them.onthelees wrote:I love mine, and I haven't had any of the frustrations some of you have. I really like the ability to "play" the sequence in real

just got mine , and I think it's great , at least for that money .
I had to amplify the gate to drive maths , but hey : that's what amplifiers are for , no ? I have to amplify the gate of my SH101 too if I want to mult it .
Great fun for quickly making rythmic sequences , transposing other sequences , triggering events , etc ....
Too bad it can't be synced , but hey : it's a toy and it works and it's cheap !
You can always use it as a master clock if you want it to run in sync with your modular .
