Might be interesting for all you potential SNARE8 builders that forum-member julian of THE BEAST fame is working on a metal panel for this project. I know that I at least want some!

All in due time, but noted.
I really want to build one of each up first to be positive they are straightforward builds before I commit to selling you guys anything.
Also, I'm going to get into trouble with paypal if I sell all these before July I believe. something to do with some limit. I guess it's getting somewhat professional eh?

aladan
Handclap is nowhere near ready yet. Two weeks ago I tried to turn my veroboard monstrosity into a pen and paper schematic and I guess I either should have had some more sleep the night before, or some less experimenting on that board...
But I will do it because I want something more or less original Falafular on the market (original cloning?).

sure, never in a hurry.
the only thing i'm missing right now to complete that POSâ„¢ is that 3704 NPN transistor. i've compared the pinout with BC547, 3904 etc and i think i'll give it a try today with the one that requires least pin bending. just temporary until i order again in a few days, but who knows, maybe sounds awesome....
fingers crossed

How hard would it be to add an led to this such that it lit up when the trigger fires, ideally for both cv and button? Would it be as simple as adding an led and resistor between the trigger pad on the front panel board and ground?
Also, mark me as interested in the hats, and given the complete failure so far on my strip board attempts, the bass drum as well.

You'll need a transistor and a couple resistors for that. Ken Stone's LED driver works great. I've used it in several designs. You can also sub the 547 for a 3904, but the pinout is swapped if I remember correctly.duff wrote:How hard would it be to add an led to this such that it lit up when the trigger fires, ideally for both cv and button? Yeah buddy of mine uses this all the time. He's got thank god it's friday going all over his synth.I couldn't be bothered to solder in them current hoggers, got noise to feed...qp wrote:You'll need a transistor and a couple resistors for that. I'm starting my kick and hat administration right now. Mind you, there is 10 sets of each coming in.
