Make Noise Headquarters
Make Noise Headquarters
Visited the Make Noise headquarters last week!
I happened to be in North Carolina and could not pass the opportunity to say hi to Tony and the MN crew. Enjoyed the visit tremendously, got an extensive demo of the new and upcoming modules.
It was interesting to see just how small the shop was: and I mean this in the best way, as something that stands in direct contrast with mass manufacturing. This is a labor of love kind of operation, in a very cool industrial warehouse type building. Asheville is also a super cute town: very charming with nice energy. Black Mountain College museum just around the corner, and amazing landscapes all around.
Cought up in the situation, did not think to take any pictures :-( regret it now...
But loved the visit, felt welcomed and wanted to thank the good folks at MN for their hospitality.

No earth-shattering news... the two coming downthe pipe next are ErbeVerb and CNTRLSEL-V later this year.EnricoGaruda wrote:news on the modules in proximity? mysteron ? erbe-verb? ctrl ?
CNTRLSEL piece is really beautiful in person. It looks like a very deep module, despite its small footprint. Looking at the storage possibilities on it I though that it was interesting that the CNTRSEL and TELEPLEXER seem to address two ends of the spectrum conceptually: CNTRLSEL gives you an opportunity to carefully predesign and save particular sets of control variables for easy/repeatable recall, while TELEPLEXER is entirely about the "in the moment" play and improvisation...
What I got to hear of the ErbeVerb sounded awesome! Between tempo sync and reverse delay I am pretty sure I will not be able to resist it :-)

Actually, it is kind of funny, because the place is actually in an alley, and the door and space is totally unmarked... so, pretty mysterious in some way :-)
