HI
I am really only looking at getting them to play in time with other equipment - DAW or drummachine.
Will Will uniMatrix work with either Casiotone MT46 or 70?
Whcih would be most likely to work?
and will the instructions and configurator for 'MIDI for Casio MT-90 with uniMatrix' be similar?
thanks

Hi,
I can only look at the schematics, but based on those can tell that I am very sure that MT46 works with uniMatrix.
I was not able to find schematics of the MT70, but my guess is that it will also work.
Yes, the instructions will be similar to the MT90. You need to solder wires to the inputs and outputs of the keyboard matrix and configure the correct number of them in the configurator. The MT46 has 3 outputs and 6 inputs for the keyboard.

Hi
thanks so much for replying
i am very new to this
when you say 3 outputs and 6 inputs for the keyboard.
what would they be?
3 outputs..? drums, autobass/autochords/arpeggio, and keyboard?
i cant even understand 6 inputs - what could they be.
what i am most interested in is getting the casion to play in time with other things - so midi in?? is that possible?

Re: Will uniMatrix work with either Casiotone MT46 or 70?
uniMastrix is able to interface the keyboard matrix of the Casio synths (and other synths as well). The matrix has a certain number of output and inputs, which combined read the keyboard.
uniMatrix will be able to play notes via MIDI, as if keyboard keys are pressed.
Without having the keyboard at hand, it will be difficult to tell you exactly where to solder wires and how to configure uniMatrix. Best to bring the synth to a tech https://tubbutec.de/synth-techs/ or to us and they or us will install it for you.
If that is not an option, we can give you some pointers based on the schematics.
