I haven't planned anything, but now I think maybe I ought to.

I plan to stream on antisocial media sometime after midnight UTC. That seems easier than setting up an Icecast server.


I will then be away for most of the day, but something will be there.

I'll be streaming scorched post-apoc low end business from 10am Australian Eastern Standard until whenever.



Using Youtube as I already have some followers there, I'll probably switch to Twitch later as I like the idea of having a potentially perpetually live channel, don;t think you can do that on the 'tube.

65daysofstatic does this, so it's possible, but I don't know if you need a particular status with youtube for it to be available.

Ah yeah, that looks like one continuous stream. I was more talking about the way Twitch does it, where your user landing page is always your latest stream session (or an offline message if not currently streaming).

On Youtube, when you stop a stream it archives it as a regular video, and the next time you stream it's at a separate URL
I power down my studio when I'm not using it, so consecutive streams will be treated as unique videos on Youtube, whereas on Twitch it's just the same stream resumed later (if that makes sense?).
