Just a bit disappointed about the mod lane functionality. I was planning to use the internal modulations for the other 3 sequencers of the oxi. So for expample to modulate with the sequencer 3 the euclidean pulses of track 4 of sequencer 1 .. was hoping to get more a organic sequencer approach out of if.. it's apparently also not possible to disconnect the modlanes from the midichannel of the sequencer.. would've been nice to have completely separate modlanes for your needs. For performances it would be great to modulate some parameters of the baseline with the kick pulses.. to have more organic, connected patterns, not just separate tracks..

Maybe this could be a feature request: Perhaps this could be handled with an additional selection in the mod settings. Not only a cc selection but also a midi channel selection over it. Not only a internal mod selection but also a sequencer and track selection over it..

but great sequencer, great build quality, great service!
I highly suggest, if you haven't already, to join oxi discord and suggest it there. It would be a great addition. Plus they respond to every message and suggestion on there, this is the device with the best support I've ever owned

Anyone have both a Sinfonion and Oxi one and can compare the harmonizing features of the two? Of course Oxi is a full fledged sequencer/device and does a lot more so no detractions or anything. Plan to get both eventually but need to prioritize. Is it easy to dial in specific chords/key changes w the Oxi, or is working with the grid a bit cumbersome for this? (looking at deluge)

Thx

I actually am in the process of making a video series for the Oxi One. So far I have a "getting started" video along with a video on getting it all synced and connected with ableton.

Thank you for this. I’m a new owner and I love to come across videos of the myriad ways people are using the Oxi One. Such a deep and fascinating piece of gear. And a bit challenging to wrap one’s head around the long list of features. Much appreciated.

I've had an OXI for about a year and it's by far the most intuitive midi controller/sequencer I've ever used. The longer I've used it, the more it becomes essential to my jamming and music making process.

I have noticed many bugs over the year though. The developers are incredibly responsive to bug reports and have been consistently updating and improving things in the firmware.

That said, the chord and harmonizer features are fantastic. While I do think the workflow around chords could be more intuitive at times, I expect they will get there as long as they keep updating like they have. I've found the chord mode really helpful for coming up with 'accidental' ideas and punching out chord progressions to see what comes out. Impressively, they just added internal modulation (Via 2xLFO and 4 Mod sequences...per sequencer) of things like arpeggiation rate/shape and strum on chords, allowing for some pretty cool variation on the chords as they play out. Frankly, it's a deep, deep device.

EDIT: grammar and such
