Knit all knotted up

Post by docile fossil »

hey all!

sent an email over to the antumbra folks, but thought i'd post here as well.

picked up a used Knit earlier this year via Reverb and only recently discovered that, across most of the algorithms, i get noisy clicks and pops, and usually then only if freq is cranked up. comparing it against Plaits demos, it's definitely not doing what it should. the drum modules seem to work alright, but if i didn't know any better, i'd say something is glitched out.

is there a method to reset the unit? i likely shouldn't update the firmware if i'm having issues, right?

alternatively, if anyone's in or near the portland, or area would like to take a look at the module, i'd be down for a socially responsible meetup! (or i'll mail it to ya)

edit: for future generations: the frequency knob has an adjustable range, so check that, like i didn't until just recently. thanks everyone for your help.

I'm getting similar, I built 2, and one is fine, but the other shows completely different data
