FAQ

Q: When will the film be released?
A: We are aiming to conclude filming before summer 2012, with a fall/winter 2012 ETA for the completed film.
that's right... although we have been talking to some distributors about the film, and realistically that release date may have been a bit optimistic. Now that filming's complete we are starting to look into this stuff more thoroughly and will likely be announcing a firm release date in the near future.

I can't remember where but I picked up somewhere about a possible Spring 2013 release - not long now then :drums:

I have no problem at all waiting (impatiently) for this, better to wait than get a rushed, sub-standard product but
it just seems a long time since the last update.

I watched this again today. It’s amazing how much things in the modular world have changed since then.

yeah those mid 2K's to 2010's modules look so ancient now, i really miss seeing racks full of malekko, livewire, early tiptop stuff, FOH, etc. Even crazier to see interviews from builders like Cynthia whom are long gone.

*edit* yikes, i made the mistake of looking up cyndustries website, apparently its half modular synth and half messed up fetishes site. :-/ i'm going back under my rock.

Yikes is right. That’s just weird. I do think it’s a different cyndustries though. The logo isn’t right.

There’s a thread about that site somewhere.

Seconded, I've only ever caught clips on YouTube.
Is this streaming anywhere or do I need to buy the DVD and a DVD player :hihi:

I was just thinking about this. The end of Modcan A production still hurts.

I didn`t find anywhere at the time, so I just bought the `DVD` that turned out to be a Blueray disc, so I then bought my first Blueray player! LOL
I don`t mind really the player wasn`t that much and I really enjoyed the vid, so it`s a Win in my book :tu:

Sky Arts (Ireland/UK) are broadcasting this again, Thursday night/Friday morning. Haven't seen it before, and missed it last week, won't make that mistake this time. And apparently they also screened Sisters with Transistors, so I'll be keeping my eyes open for that too.

Any idea where to stream or buy the hardcore edition? I can’t seem to find it anywhere right now.

Kanopy, for the non-hardcore version of the doc. For free. Your local library needs to be affiliated with it, but most libraries seem to be hooked up to kanopy.
