Anyone want to recommend a cable holder for 1/4" cables?
I was hoping to find a hex or triangular one for a mic stand.
These have been out of stock for a while...

I have this one from Synthesizers.com:

It mounts on a mic stand and works well.

The mic stand thing always seemed too unstable. The way I wander about in my studio? ... you kiddin? ... I'm sure as I can be that I'd knock that thing over regularly, along with whatever collateral damage came with it! I went the lazy route, bought those hangers sold by dot com and screwed them to a board.

My solution to that was to take some unused stands from my old drum kits, pilfer the lower portion and stick the mic stand main post in that. Now if I don't have footwear on while in the studio it's as dangerous as...... well as dangerous as walking 'round a drum kit with no footwearRex Coil 7 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 8:24 am The mic stand thing always seemed too unstable. Oh man! I know that pain! Too well! Especially those little wrinkly-ass ends pressed on the x-type kybd stands. 'Bout like drop kickin a brick in bare feet.
Those stands you're using ... oy! .. I'm feelin it for the inbetween-thuh-toes destruction. Y'know ... the inbetween stuff ... the metal foot area of those stands goin right up inbetween the toes while the lower leg is in full swing .... 80mph inbetweener destruction and pain.

Here are three different ones I use. The Pomona is my favorite I have used for years. They used to around $10 but a few years ago they I suppose figured out modular nerds were using them. Every few weeks they are $15 but raise up to around $28.
The Hyqing is another great option also. The other is for Eurorack cables, ect. All quality all metal builds. I have around 10 Pomona's and 5 Hyqing and 5 Luigi's I use for cable needs.
