This is great. Love the use of the percussion. I've added it to my wishlist to purchase on the next Bandcamp Friday.

Thanks, glad you like it; I've started adding drums, relatively low in the mix, to give listeners something to hang on to. Here's the whole performance video, including pre and post-set interviews:

That was even better with being able to see the lights and your setup.unclebastard wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 12:33 pm Thanks, glad you like it; I've started adding drums, relatively low in the mix, to give listeners something to hang on to. Re: New live drone
You keep posting this stuff and I keep listening to it. I forget I'm listening to it in a tab as it soaks into the general textural background of the day, which is a really good sign. Apparently my actual world doesn't sound like that, it's not nearly so interesting or comforting.
I love that you're putting it out there, confounding people with your drones whether they understand or not (still chuckling about you trying to find the exact frequency to kill the audience). They're solid and full of interesting ear food. This one was a little more structured by percussion, is that allowed? I liked how you used it, though, to help build to something of a crescendo for a dramatic finish, so maybe you shouldn't be expelled from Drone Club quite yet.

Re: New live drone
I'm glad you still dig it: the one I released on Monday, 'Bubblebath', has an accidental rhythmic part which is mostly in the background, but still insistent. It came about when I added the sequenced drone to the main drone; the sequenced one has the noise level modulated by LFO 5, at a rate high enough to create a rhythm of sorts. I'm not releasing any new stuff until I've got to grips/achieved competency with the Medusa's 3 operator FM mode, could be a while, but when I do there will be quite a bit- I'm recording all my experiments.
