sorry, just a dot (.) or doot to pop this into my watched threads list to keep up with/peruse more thoroughly later.
OK. No worries :tu:

Looking up "Doot" on Urban Dictionary, I was afraid it was meant as an insult - but I'm glad it wasn't!

Please peruse at your leisure:)

lol. yeah. defo references the Doom Horns Doot'er, i forgot that. on Imgur it morphed from Dot as in putting just a "." as a response on a thread to check out later or get updates on, to Doot, to a conflation of Upvote and Do(o)t as Updoot.

internet language progression is equal parts silly and interesting as butts to me.

NEVER INSULTS.

Here you go:

Nice work Samatha! Really enjoy the way the chords modulate across the 13 frequencies. The sequence has a certain "mono-modal" quality to it and its difficult to achieve wide tonal range when limiting yourself to that set of frequencies - the meditative song structure is well suited for it!

I definitely recommend trying out the ODDSound MTS suite (mini version is free and works with MTS supporting VSTs like Serum - somewhat comprehensive list of supporting VSTs can be found here: https://oddsound.com/usingmtsesp.php).

Thank you. I'm glad you liked it :goo:

This particular set of frequencies is sort of similar to the lower notes of the natural harmonic series. So basically the overtones that would be contained in a single note played on an acoustic instrument. If you want more flexibility, and be able to "change chords", you could potentially just make a copies of the whole set, and pitch the individual sets. Pitching one set up by a perfect fourth would work well, I think.

In fact, I might just try that..

But anyway.

Thank you for reminding me about the Oddsound project! I remember reading about it (years ago?), but back then it was still in the early stages of development, and eventually I forgot all about it. I use the TAL-Sampler a lot, but haven't updated it for some time. The version I currently have installed doesn't have MTS-ESP support, so I'll have to dig up my serial and figure out how to update that. And then try to figure out MTS-ESP as well, of course.

Best wishes for your weekend!

I'd be delighted if you could furnish me with some pointers to double-blind RCT-based studies with statistically significant outcomes, showing that "sound healing" is "not woo". That would be absolutely massive if true.
