Hey everyone, I'm working on a Kickstarter for a new module, the Facehugger arpeggiator/sequencer/burst generator/envelope generator/LFO/etc., and am looking for everyone's input on slide pots and panel widths. Let me know what you'd want!
Option 1: 10 hp - 3 rows of four 10mm travel slide pots (8 level sliders and 4 parameter sliders).
Option 2: 16hp - 1 row of eight 20mm slide pots and one row of four rotary parameter pots.
[Ended] Facehugger module layout poll
Re: Facehugger module layout poll
I do think both look good but I prefer the 16hp version.

My sausage fingers start tingling just looking at the 10hp version... I think the 16hp is the way to go considering that "dialing" in some settings might be difficult on the smaller.
Re: Facehugger module layout poll
Larger looks more performative, also more intuitive for the sliders at the top.

6hp is a a small price to pay to get the sliders on one row.

Re: Facehugger module layout poll
Thanks everyone for all the input, it was all very helpful!
I also did a poll on Instagram and even asked a few dealers directly, and the overwhelming opinion is for the wider, 16hp layout.
The 16 gives a lot more space to add some features I had been forced to leave out, so I hope that will be worth it for the 10hp folks. More information coming soon!

If anyone is interested and gets in early enough, last I checked, you could still Kickstart one at $214 instead of $285...$71 savings. The ones left at that price have the "utility" panel, which is great for me, because I am honestly not a fan of the panel graphics. But as an add-on, you can still get the color of your choice for $20, which is still cheaper than the $285 price.
