Chain two BoardPWR PSUs

Post by TryfleThirty »

Hi and a Happy New Year,

I need to expand the possible power consumption of my Eurorack case as I'm constantly running on the limits of 2A.
I got a custom case where we installed one KonstantLab BoardPWR with the GST120A20-P1M power brick and connected 2 bus boards.
Now I want to install an additional BoardPWR and chain them to increase the overall accessible power. However I could not find a manual / specs for this anywhere. I'm a bit unsure and need more information on this, i.e. How to connect the bus boards when chaining, any difference? Which ports to use? What is the exact wiring between both PSUs and the input/output for the power switch?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Did you reach out to Konstantlab? I found them very helpful for questions beyond their online content. Not an expert myself, so apologies for not contributing a direct solution.
It would seem that still, after all these years, perception is essentially thought to be a passive process.

I finished up my rack yesterday and connected 2 PSU boards. Each connects to one bus board. It is actually quite simple.

Here is the picture of the setup:

Hope it helps someone else in the future.

Cheers!
