Gravity Waaaves

Post by heckadecimal69 »

Andrei Jay has opened the Kickstarter campaign for his new product: Gravity Waaaves
It's kind of like 2x HD waaave pools on steroids with a pretty advanced video mixer.

Interesting. I couldn't tell from the kickstarter page, but is what's shown there the final product? Is it going to include an off-the-shelf Korg nanokontrol2? If so, it seems an odd choice for a product that costs $900.

Whilst I'm not totally against a mini-computer-in-a-box product, I'd like to make up for the computeriness by having a pretty good box and interface
Not a fan of the output aesthetic either, which is a shame

it's pretty expensive to back it, but he makes everything open source and welcomes people to build their own. some people are able to support what he's doing directly, which is cool.

the video on that page isn't a great example. his ig has a lot recently tagged #gravity_waaaves
