:yay:

So with Gate High, the switch stays on and switch turns off when Gate goes low? I wonder if this could be paired with my custom expander. Will PM for further discussion.

Just moved and still in the process of unpacking everything, but after the new year I'll have a new project to make.

finally got around to getting this up and running. way more sturdy than my vactrol version, which def would (and has) not survived a trip in the mail. managed to still squeeze it into 2hp still, and ULN2803APG is the octal version of this chip, so you can do it all with one instead of two..

while i'm thinking about it...before i build one for someone with a mk1 (which i don't have to test) can you confirm that, so long as the bottom pins are still ground, the pinout doesn't really matter on the mk1? i'm guessing it doesn't matter, since all 8 switches are circuit benders... :hmm:

in your video it's listed as:

1* *5
2* *6
3* *7
4* *8
G* *G

however, i've found that, because the mk2 expansion has options for the format/pitch shifting/and circuit bending, it's pin out is laid out as follows:

1* *2
3* *4
5* *6
7* *8
G* *G

I just didnt care what was the order because it's so ODD.
But here it is :yay:

ASOT mk1
1''
2''
3''
4''

5''
6''
7''
8''

PINs layout

2* *8
1* *7
3* *6
4* *5
G* *G

by all means! you started this anyway! :hail:

the trick is to use these style of jacks and double sided perf boards so that you can solder the ground pins on the other side of the board to hold it in place as a kind of 'bracket'

also, i put it on the grid
