It's worth noting that the Oakley ASV (SEM-ish complete synth voice module) includes this cool trick built right into the voice architecture with a dedicated knob to send a triangle wave from OSC1 directly to the VCA, bypassing the filter, so you can keep a beefy low end even when sweeping the filter in BP or HP modes.

This same idea of patching a sine or triangle wave from one of the oscs so it gets mixed back into the signal at the filter output can be good for other purposes too, like when you have a lot of intentional filter distortion which can sometimes rob the sound of the low end. This idea will fix that.
