Alternatives to MI Branches?
On the hunt for another controllable coin flip module aside from Branches, preferably a little bit smaller. Anything comparable out there?

You can get a O_C with Hemisphere Suite and use duel "Brancher" if you want.

The only problem with Marbles is, that it needs a steady clock. If you want it to make decisions at a constant rate, it will work, otherwise Marbles will get confused and not behave as wanted.mmpingo wrote:The random gate generator (left "t" section) in Marbles.

Can you elaborate on this? I have Marbles and my understanding is you can feed it a clock or use it's internal...?jbrandtp wrote:The only problem with Marbles is, that it needs a steady clock. Branches generates an output every time it gets a trigger in the input. It does not have to be at a constant rate.smallstonefan wrote:Can you elaborate on this? Marbles t-section starts calculating a tempo every time it gets a trigger. It needs this tempo to generate clock multiplications (and jitter time). Marbles will therefore not behave as expected, if you only want to send occasionally triggers (or a rhythmic pattern) to get a value.
If you need new values at a constant rate, you can use Marbles (as well as Branches).
Hope this helps?
