New IFM module? Dunst

Post by yghartsyrt »

via YouTube. Seems to be somewhat noise related. Great sound as far as I can judge from the video or is this all Zener?

Oh wow, the manual is up, too: http://synthmall.com/ifm/ifmDUN.pdf

Sounds very much like the concepts used in plumbutter's Man With the Red Steam (noise/snare).

I really like the sound of Zenert.

Just did that as well. This came out of nowhere, I was expecting that he would release the Dogslit ((?)) first.

Oh the noise tocante looks lovely! Bandpass filtered noise, really amazing how it goes directly from noise to tones.

Will post as soon as I hear. Peter is probably very busy but he'll eventually answer. :bananaguitar:

oh wow, that's hot.
I was just looking for a harsh, noisy kinda module, but not your standard cross-modded square waves dealy.

This will do just fine :yay:

Vey Busy, According to Synthmall Ordering:

"June 2015: this month will be busy, and there are only about two weeks at the beginning in which I can help you. At the end of the month, and in July and August I will not be dependable, for I am moving house and workshop..."

Another cool thing on the Dunst, but also something I need to explore more, is the ramp output for 'Dust'. I found some solid material by sending that to a Swoop and using the Swoop output to FM back into the Dunst.

I really need to get some more time on the IFM setup, though. I finally got ahold of a Fourses and Barre controller, had them racked for like 6 hours and then my gallbladder decided it wanted to leave my body :bang:

Very curious about this module. Looking forward to more Dunst sounds/videos from those who already own one.

Me too, I want some ciat weirdness in my system, and this looks perfect to fill that gap. Just need to hear some more before I commit.

Here's an audio demo:

Soundcloud's compression muddies the high-end a bit, to my ear. It sounds sharper in person :]
